Loyola's JV and Freshman Basketball teams kick off their 2023-24 campaigns this week at the inaugural Mission League Lower Level Basketball Tournament (Nov. 13-18).

The season-opening tourney will take place across three days for each level, with each game being held at a different Mission League school. The Freshmen will play on Monday-Wednesday-Friday, while JV suits up on Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday. 

Depending on the venue, normal gameday ticketing/entrance rules apply. Visitors will likely have to scan QR codes at the door to purchase tickets via GoFan. Unfortunately, no livestreams have been made available for this early-season tournament.

The schedule is as follows:

Frosh

• Game 1: Mon (Nov. 13) vs Harvard-Westlake at 6PM

Times/opponents are dependent on the previous day's games. The games played this week will not count towards a school's Mission League record (only the league games played in January 2024 will count); however, W/L results from this opening tournament will count towards a school's overall 2023-24 season record.
