Postgame
After the game, Jalen Cox said, “There were times we had lapses of not getting back on defense and not boxing out and that ultimately led to them beating us.” When asked about the feelings before the game, Cox said, “We had a game plan. Coach said we had a cheat sheet. We knew that they were gonna drive and they were gonna get on the offensive rebound but we just didn’t execute.” Finally, when asked what the team could’ve done differently, Cox replied, “We just box out more, be more energetic, and not take as many three pointers.”
