Loyola Soccer, currently ranked No. 4 in the final CIF-SS Boys Division I Soccer poll of the season, will take the No. 3 seed into this year’s playoffs. The Cubs hold a 15-1-2 overall record and are coming off their 10th Mission League title in the last 11 years. With their draw, Loyola hosts Santa Ana (4-8-3; Orange Coast League) in the first round on Thursday (May 13) at Smith Field at 5PM.

Loyola and Santa Ana have already faced off once this season: a 2-0 road victory in the Cubs' favor back on March 10th. In Mission League play, Loyola held opponents scoreless for the first time in program history (45-0 scoring margin).
