Homeruns from senior Nathan Priestley ’19 and junior Matt Costopoulos ’20 propelled the Varsity Baseball team to a 6-3 decision over Chaminade on Wednesday (Apr. 10) at Hernandez Field, marking Loyola’s seventh straight victory and its third Mission League series win of the season. Sophomore RHP Nico Stanley '21 was credited with the win.

The Cubs improve to 17-7 overall, while the seven-game unbeaten streak matches the 7-0 start Loyola had to begin the season (Feb. 9-Mar. 4). Loyola will look to sweep the series against the Eagles tomorrow (Apr. 12) in West Hills, with first pitch set for 3:30 p.m.
