Loyola Cross Country dominated at the first Mission League Cluster Meet of the year yesterday (Sept. 25), with both the JV and Varsity squads finishing in first place as a team and a handful of runners finishing in the Top 10 individually.
The JV team had seven runners finish in spots 1-7 overall (and spots 8-13 by time)—led by sophomore Nick Castain ’22 at 17:35.8—and in total, 18 runners in the Top 20. Additionally, all seven runners in the Varsity race placed within the Top 11, led by junior Arjun Vadgama ’21 in third place overall (17:11.7).
