Friday Night Lights are back! The 2022 campaign for Loyola Varsity Football begins at home on Friday night (Aug. 26), with the Cubs hosting the Damien Spartans at Smith Field.

PARKING: Parking is available in the Dewey Lot (1499 Dewey Avenue, Los Angeles, CA). Loyola Security will direct any overflow to adjacent and secure parking lots surrounding campus. Handicap parking is available (please inform Security upon arrival). Gates will open at 5:30PM.
ENTRANCE: Fans must enter campus via the Dewey Lot. Seating is at a first come, first served basis on Smith Field. Students will have a dedicated Student Section on the west end of the field in front of Ruppert Hall.
ON-CAMPUS: Cub Corner, Loyola's official merchandise store, will be open on Friday night. Concessions from Zlicious Eatz will also be available for purchase.
LIVESTREAM: Loyola has partnered up with the NFHS Network to provide a livestream for every home game played at Smith Field. The Varsity Football game on Aug. 26th will be streamed at the following link:

Please note that a subscription is required to view games on the NFHS Network. Options for Loyola fans include a Monthly Pass ($11.99/month) or an Annual Pass ($79.99). An Annual Pass will cover all three seasons of athletic competition (for all three levels: Varsity, JV/Soph, Frosh) hosted on Loyola’s Smith Field, Leavey Gymnasium, and Hernandez Field: fall (football), winter (basketball, soccer), spring (lacrosse, baseball, volleyball).
PREVIEW: Loyola (0-0) will suit up for the first time this season against the Spartans, who are 0-1 in 2022 after taking a 28-19 loss to Yorba Linda last Friday.
THE SERIES: The all-time series between Loyola and Damien is at 1-1, with the Spartans taking the first meeting back in 1971 (27-7) and the Cubs taking last year's meeting in La Verne, 16-14. Friday's game will be the rubbermatch.
HOME SCHEDULE: Loyola is on the road for a pair of games (at Culver City on Sept. 2, at Pasadena on Sept. 9) before returning home on Sept. 16 against Chaminade. The final three home games are set for Oct. 7 (vs Crespi), Oct. 21 (vs Cathedral), and Oct. 28 (vs St. Francis - Senior Night).
