Smith Field will see double the action on the first day of September, as both Loyola Frosh and Soph Football teams host games this Thursday (Sept. 1). The sophomores take on Highland at 4PM in their first home game of the year, followed by the freshmen hosting Culver City at 6:30PM.
TICKETS: Admission is free for all lower-level football games. Only Varsity games will require the purchase of a ticket. For gameday info on Varsity Football at Culver City (Sept. 2), click here.
PARKING: Parking is available in the Dewey Lot (1499 Dewey Avenue, Los Angeles, CA). Loyola Security will direct any overflow to adjacent and secure parking lots surrounding campus. Handicap parking is available (please inform Security upon arrival).
ENTRANCE: Seating is at a first come, first served basis on Smith Field. Spectators are allowed to bring stadium chairs and bleacher support seats, as well as umbrellas for afternoon games. (Please be aware of the high temperatures set for this week in particular!)
ON-CAMPUS: Concessions from Zlicious Eatz will be available for purchase at the stand next to Leavey Gym.
LIVESTREAM: Loyola has partnered up with the NFHS Network to provide a livestream for every home game played at Smith Field. Both games on Thursday will be livestreamed:
Please note that a subscription is required to view games on the NFHS Network. Options for Loyola fans include a Monthly Pass ($11.99/month) or an Annual Pass ($79.99). An Annual Pass will cover all three seasons of athletic competition (for all three levels: Varsity, JV/Soph, Frosh) hosted on Loyola’s Smith Field, Leavey Gymnasium, and Hernandez Field: fall (football), winter (basketball, soccer), spring (lacrosse, baseball, volleyball).
UPCOMING: The Freshman team will resume action on Sept. 10 at Vista HS (Reserve game - 10AM), while the Sophomore team will be at Pasadena on Sept. 8th at 4PM.
