The season continues for Loyola Volleyball, who will now gear up for State competition this week as the No. 2 seed in the 2022 CIF Regional Championships. The CIF Southern Section Cubs will host Palisades from the CIF City Section on Tuesday (May 17) at Leavey Gymnasium in the opening round of the tournament.

PARKING: When arriving on campus, please head to the Dewey Lot (1499 Dewey Avenue, Los Angeles, CA) where you will then be directed by Loyola Security.
PREVIEW: Loyola (21-3 overall) will take the No. 2 seed into this year’s State bracket, while Pali is the No. 7 seed. The Dolphins are the 2022 CIF LA City Section Open Division champions, having defeated No. 1 seed Chatsworth, 3-1 in the finals (25-19, 12-25, 25-15, 25-15) on Saturday. This will be the first meeting between the two schools this season.

2022 CIF STATE REGIONALS: A win on Tuesday puts Loyola into the regional semifinals of the 8-team bracket. The Cubs, as the higher seed, would host either No. 3 Cathedral Catholic (San Diego) or No. 6 Tesoro (Orange County) on Thursday (May 19) at 6PM at Leavey Gymnasium.
