CIF ACADEMIC TEAM AWARD | For the third straight year, Loyola Lacrosse is your winner of the CIF Southern Section-Ford Academic Team Award! The team awards, based on a cumulative grade point average, are awarded in 29 team sports. Entries from 2,667 teams were received this year. To be considered, teams must have at least five student-athletes with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA average (4.0 scale) in the first semester or first two quarters of the 2025-26 school year. The highest team GPA in each sport category by CBED enrollment determines the winner. 

Our Varsity Lacrosse program finished 1st overall in boys lacrosse for the third consecutive season with a 3.751 team GPA! Extremely proud of our STUDENT-athletes in the Loyola Lacrosse program and the rest of our Varsity teams for being honorable mentions in their prospective sports including: Loyola Volleyball who came in 2nd overall for boys volleyball and Loyola Football who came in 4th overall for their sport. #OnlyAtLoyola | #GoCubs
